Use the correct browser to register your Monash account

We are aware that some students are experiencing difficulty in setting their password during the enrolment computer account creation process. These problems stem from the browser you are using.

We strongly recommend that you use the following browser versions:

  • Mozilla Firefox 3.0.17
  • Internet Explorer version 6.0 and up

Do NOT use Safari for Mac and PC during account creation.
Known issue: When you are using Safari and the system rejects your password choice, you will be instructed to click the back button. But when you do this, Safari won't take you back to change your password. Instead, you will get a message saying your account exists and that you need to contact the ITS Service Desk.
