Victorian Educational Research Network (VERN)

VERNet Pty Ltd a collaborative investment by the Victorian universities, the CSIRO, and the Commonwealth and Victorian Governments has been established to design, deploy and manage the Victorian Education and Research Network (VERN). The advanced optic fibre infrastructure deployed by VERN across metropolitan and regional Victoria will help meet the accelerating bandwidth needs of the Victorian tertiary education and research sectors for the next two decades and beyond.

As VERN rolls out the optic fibre, it will provision links to various Monash sites including, Berwick, Gippsland and Frankston campuses, MMCC, Alfred Hospital, VCP, City Office on 30 Collins street, Faculty of medicine sites in the metropolitan hospitals and rural Victoria.
