How to set up TV streaming on your computer

Before you start

The VLC media player must be set up before you can access TV streaming.

1. Click on then
   
   
2. Select Programs then VideoLAN then VLC media player.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on Settings then Preferences.
   
   
   
   
4. Select next to Playlist.
   
   
   
   
5. Select Service Directory.
   
   
6. Tick SAP Announcements (SAP).
   
   
   
   
7. Click on
   
   
8. Close VLC player.
   

How to set up TV streaming on your computer

1. Ensure that you have VLC media player open on your monitor.
   
   
2. If the window is not already open, open the VLC application.
   
   
   
   
3. Select View from the menu and click on Playlist
   
   
   
   
4. Wait for the to appear next to Session Announcements (SAP). There will be short delay of approximately 1 minute.
   
   
   
   
5. Click on displayed next to Monash TV.
   
   
   
   
6. Double click on the TV channel you would like to watch and resize the screen as you prefer.
   
   
   
   
7. Click on to finish and choose another channel.
