Changing IMAP Settings in Outlook
NOTE: These steps have only been tested with Outlook 2002. Some variation in the required steps may exist
for other versions of Outlook. These instructions are NOT supported by the ITS Service Desk.

1. Start Outlook

2. Click on "Outlook Today" (A).
3. Click on the "Tools" (B) menu item and select the "E-mail Accounts" (C) menu item.
4. Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts" then click on "Next >".

5. Select the entry for your Monash E-mail account (A) and click "Change" (B).

7. Modify the "Incoming mail server (IMAP)" setting to use "mail.monash.edu.au" (A) as the IMAP mai
l host.
8. Click on "Next >" (B) then Finish
You should now be using mail.monash.edu.au as your IMAP mail host for accessing your Monash staff e
mail account.
