Guide to moving Calendar nodes
This document will guide you through the process of moving calendar nodes.
If you are unsure whether you need your Calendar node moved, or you don't know
what a node is, please read the Calendar Technical Information.
Submit your request
Submit your request through the
ITS Service Desk
with the following information:
- Your staff authcate username
- The reason for the move. e.g. You need to grant designate access
to user John Citizen who is on the other node.
- Your current node. This is the number used when you log into
Calendar. e.g. node10033 or node10034
Wait for ITS to contact you
We will contact you by phone or email when we are ready to move your account.
Quit Calendar
We will ask you to log out of Netscape Calendar and/or the Calendar
Express web client. Notify us once you have logged out and we will
then move your account.
Log back into Calendar
We will contact you when you can safely log back into Calendar.
You will need to enter or select your new node number on the login screen.
Netscape Calendar will generally remember this information for future logins.
We will instruct you in more detail during the actual moving process.
